Where efficiency and high availability are important, electrically driven rail guided vehicles are often the better alternative to classic continuous conveyors. In order to be able to offer maximum flexibility especially for intralogistics, DAMBACH Lagersysteme GmbH & Co. KG has optimized its proven MONOFLEX rail guided vehicle: The high-performance transport system is now also suitable for transporting several small load carriers. As a result, they can be sorted as well as separated in a targeted manner and large distances can be bridged more economically, even with small loads. Thanks to special transfer stations, the delivery of the small load carriers takes place quickly and saves time in the picking process.
The DAMBACH rail guided vehicle consists of a modular, easy-to-install two-rail system. A reliable distribution switch with low changeover times ensures high availability even with complex system layouts, so that up to 450 vehicles per hour can be handled. Fast vehicle changes and infeeds are thus no problem. Compared to conventional roller or chain conveyors, transport is very quiet despite the high travel speed.
In order to accommodate highly versatile stock with a high level of dynamics, the MONOFLEX system can be modularly expanded with the new container conveyor technology. This means that the conveyor can also be loaded with cardboard boxes or trays. In this way, a variety of material flows are mapped with the help of decentralized conveyor functions and standardized conveyor elements.
