About Us

DAMBACH Lagersysteme is an independent family-owned company with a history spanning more than 50 years. At its facility in Bischweier in the northern Black Forest, the company develops and manufactures automated intralogistics solutions. These solutions are used worldwide in automated warehouses operated by industrial and commercial enterprises. As a technological pioneer in the field of storage and retrieval machines, we stand for quality, reliability, and technical progress—all “Made in Germany.”

DAMBACH History – Timeline
Our History

50 Years of DAMBACH

1974
DAMBACH Industrieanlagen was founded. Product line: automated storage and retrieval systems.
1982
Focus on warehouse technology and construction of the first curve-capable stacker crane (35 m high).
1986
First major order for 30 stacker cranes.
1998
First order from China.
2000
Company name changed from DAMBACH Industrieanlagen to DAMBACH Lagersysteme GmbH & Co. KG.
2002
Expansion of export operations.
2006
DAMBACH Lagersysteme GmbH & Co. KG becomes an independent company.
2008
Opening of the new plant in Bischweier.
2011
Compact Shuttle with Power Caps.
2012
Opening of DAMBACH Lagersysteme Inc. in Michigan, USA.
2013
Expansion of the product range to include pallet conveyor technology.
2017
MULTIFLEX system with a new CARRIER and inductive power transfer.
2018
New facility constructed to expand pallet conveyor technology production.
2019
Introduction of the MONOFLEX electric floor conveyor as a high-performance conveying system.
2021
Construction of a new assembly hall with a showroom.
2022
Expansion of the product portfolio to include a lightweight small-parts storage and retrieval machine and the new container conveyor technology for small-load transport.
2024
50th anniversary of DAMBACH.
2025
Expansion of the product range to include a 2D pallet shuttle system (AXIS²).
