Decentralized, scalable, and secure

The DAMBACH control system is based on SIMATIC S7 or Allen-Bradley control systems. Fieldbus solutions at the sensor and actuator levels minimize installation effort, eliminate sources of error, and enable cost-effective expansions. Decentralized controllers independently monitor motion sequences and enable different travel strategies without additional effort.

The CARRIER, COMPACT SHUTTLE, and RAIL CART of the MONOFLEX electric floor conveyor system are equipped with decentralized control. Sources of error are minimized, and installation times are reduced.

End-to-End Software Solution 

From the sensor to the ERP system

Connection to higher-level control computers is established via standardized communication interfaces or flexibly programmable interfaces in the material flow computer. Direct connection to SAP is also possible. Visualization systems offer comprehensive logging, statistical functions, and remote diagnostics for reliability in troubleshooting without the need for on-site intervention. An intuitive user interface and a consistent menu structure—from the machine control system all the way to the control room—further simplify operation.

DAMBACH Smart Energy Management (DSE)

DSE reduces the energy consumption of automated storage systems by one-third, and peak current draw from the grid drops to one-fifth. Recovered braking energy is temporarily stored locally and reused immediately. Cost-effective, reliable, and retrofittable for existing systems.
