DAMBACH Presents Its New Products for 2024
At this year’s MODEX logistics trade show in Atlanta, USA, DAMBACH presented not only solutions for reducing the energy consumption of automated warehouse systems but also its new heavy-duty stacker crane.
Drawing on 50 years of experience, DAMBACH developed a stacker crane capable of handling payloads of up to 12 metric tons. Particular emphasis was placed on a robust wheel-and-rail system and a vibration-optimized mast design. This enables even very heavy and large load carriers to be stored dynamically.
The flexibility in selecting load-handling attachments and in the dimensions of the lift truck makes the new stacker crane, named MAGNO, highly versatile. Whether for transporting packages via a cantilever telescopic arm or air freight containers using heavy-duty roller conveyors, the new heavy-duty RBG proves to be extremely flexible in operation. Combined with DAMBACH Smart Energy Management, it also meets modern requirements for sustainable warehouse technology.
LogiMAT, the international trade fair for intralogistics solutions in Stuttgart, Germany, was the ideal occasion to unveil the new pallet shuttle system. Two synchronized half-pallet-format shuttles open up new possibilities for automated aisle storage. Whether it’s the flexible mixed operation of plastic half-pallets and Euro pallets in a single racking system or the dual transport of worn-out, unstable full pallets.
Thanks to the optimal synchronization of the two SEMI SHUTTLES, even pallets with non-standard dimensions can be stored in multiple-depth configurations. The additional center channel rail provides additional support points for the pallet within the rack channel, resulting in increased stability. Each half-pallet shuttle can transport a payload of up to 800 kg in single operation and up to 1,500 kg in combined operation. With over 10 years of experience in the field of automated shuttle systems, the new SEMI SHUTTLE perfectly complements the DAMBACH warehouse technology portfolio.
