AUTOMATED STORAGE AND RETRIEVAL SYSTEMS (ASRS)

Stacker Cranes

and Shuttle-Systems

Automated storage systems provide the basis for efficient processes, high availability, and cost-effective warehouse operations. DAMBACH Storage Systems develops and manufactures the necessary storage technology. Storage and retrieval machines, shuttle systems, and control solutions, all perfectly coordinated and available from a single source, since 1974.

As a pioneer and driver of innovation, DAMBACH shapes the global market for automated storage systems. Whether it’s curve-going stacker cranes, control solutions with sophisticated energy management, or shuttles for multi-depth storage in the frozen food sector.

Stacker Cranes

DAMBACH stacker cranes are available in both aisle-bound and curve-going configurations and cover a wide range of applications. From pallets and special workpiece carriers weighing up to 6 tons, to mesh boxes, and small parts at heights of up to 27 meters. The modular design enables a wide variety of cost-effective applications.

Shuttle Systems

DAMBACH shuttle systems enable multi-deep storage for a wide range of applications. Whether it’s very high pallet throughput using MULTIFLEX (mother-child shuttle system), maximum scalability with AXIS² (2D pallet shuttle system), or the highest possible flexibility through storage and retrieval machines equipped with multiple COMPACT SHUTTLES (pallet channel vehicles). The DAMBACH shuttle portfolio is suitable for complex building geometries, demanding deep-freeze applications, high payloads, or short access times. Over 15 years of experience with shuttle systems make all the difference here.

Your Advantages

an automated storage system from DAMBACH

DAMBACH bearing systems are designed for continuous operation under real-world conditions. This is reflected in six specific performance characteristics.

Fully automated warehouse operations

Stocking and retrieval take place automatically, around the clock, even under the harshest environmental conditions, such as in a deep-freeze warehous

Short lead times and delivery times

Automated processes significantly reduce access times and ensure consistently high delivery readiness.

Optimal use of space

With heights of up to 49 meters and compact dimensions, these cranes make optimal use of the available space.

Multi-depth storage

DAMBACH shuttle systems enable multi-deep storage of a wide variety of pallet types, thereby significantly increasing storage density.

High throughput

Scalable and reliable, regardless of product range size and item structure.

Lifting equipment manufactured in-house

Designed and manufactured in Germany for precise transfers and long-term continuous operation.

Conveyor Systems

by DAMBACH

A storage system can only reach its full potential when combined with the right conveyor technology. DAMBACH offers pallet conveyor systems, container conveyor systems, and the MONOFLEX electric floor conveyor as perfectly coordinated additions to the automated storage system.

FAQs

About storage systems by DAMBACH

There is no one-size-fits-all answer. Both technologies have their merits and require a case-by-case assessment. Often, a combination of both systems in different warehouse areas proves to be the most cost-effective solution. The DAMBACH sales team will guide you through the decision-making process.

With well over 6,000 installations worldwide, DAMBACH has a wealth of experience. Our portfolio includes proven solutions for ambient temperatures as low as –30°C, heights of up to 49 m, and payloads of up to 12 t.

From in-depth product training for internal maintenance teams with spare parts inventory to 24/7 hotline support provided by our own DAMBACH service team. Our support model is tailored to your specific needs.
