Curve-capable storage and retrieval machines

For maximum redundancy in the warehouse

DAMBACH’s MULTI series seamlessly switches between any two aisle sections via special travel rails and switching mechanisms, without the need for mechanically complex transfer devices and without interrupting movement. Each MULTI unit can serve multiple aisles, which reduces the number of storage and retrieval machines (SIR-machines) required and optimizes utilization. Construction heights up to 36 m, load capacities up to 4,000 kg, suitable for use in deep-freeze environments down to –30 °C.

The MULTI series shifts gears directly via travel rails and control switches without interrupting operation. The operating strategy for multi-unit operation can be preselected via parameters. In the event of a unit failure or malfunction, the remaining units take over its tasks without interrupting system operation.

Patented rail geometry for long-term continuous operation

Designed for minimal wear, even in curved track sections

The patented rail geometry of the MULTI series corrects lateral displacement of the undercarriage in curved sections of track. Compared to conventional rail systems, the wheels and rails are optimally protected. The storage and retrieval machines (SIR-machines) are guided safely around the curves with minimal wear.

When combined with the appropriate load-handling attachments, the MULTI storage and retrieval machine is extremely versatile. Available in single- or double-mast configurations, it can transport virtually any load, from beverage pallets to car bodies. Double-deep telescopic forks maximize space utilization, while swivel-push forks with adjustable tines enable the handling of closed pallets. All load handling devices are developed and manufactured in-house at DAMBACH.

MINI

DAMBACH MINI storage and retrieval machines handle the fully automated storage and retrieval of containers, cartons, and trays. Their compact design, small footprint, and integrated load handling devices ensure maximum throughput with optimal use of space. Payloads up to 300 kg at heights up to 27 m; suitable for use in deep-freeze environments down to –30 °C.
