The scalable channel storage system

AXIS² is DAMBACH’s fully automated, multi-deep storage system designed to meet the highest standards of flexibility, scalability, and system availability. The shuttle, conveyor technology, racking system, and material flow control are perfectly coordinated. Open racking interfaces enable easy integration by general contractors and system integrators. Suitable for a wide range of pallet types and the harshest environmental conditions, including deep-freeze operation down to –30 °C.

The Shuttle

The AXIS² BOT moves freely in two dimensions within a single plane and reliably handles a wide variety of pallet types. Twelve driven wheels ensure full traction in every situation, even when switching from an aisle to a channel or lift.

An innovative energy storage system enables 24/7 operation with minimized fire load, while autonomous pallet recognition and route control ensure system availability. Developed based on over 15 years of DAMBACH shuttle experience. Extremely short loading times of just 5–8 minutes ensure optimal shuttle utilization during operation.

AXIS² CORE

Modular Software

Scalable software solution for transparent warehouse processes. From the Warehouse Control System to comprehensive warehouse management with picking processes. The software supports a wide variety of warehouse processes, including FIFO, LIFO, buffer zones, and zone assignments for pallet storage locations.

AXIS² CORE consists of three interlinked modules:

Warehouse Control System (WCS) Software core with route management, deadlock prevention, energy management, and a web-based user interface.

Warehouse Executive System (WES) Storage location management with flexible zone allocation and dashboards for data analysis.

Warehouse Management System (WMS) Turnkey solution with comprehensive item management and picking processes. At its highest configuration level, AXIS² CORE also handles complex sorting and queuing processes, making it suitable for complete turnkey solutions.
